Humanitarian Report on the Response to the Northwest Syria Escalation
As of 4 of December 2024, the humanitarian situation in northwest Syria remains
severely impacted by the military escalation that began on November 27. Affected
communities face immense challenges, with thousands still displaced and
dependent on urgent humanitarian aid to survive. Due to the destroyed
infrastructure, many have lost access to their basic needs, further exacerbating
the humanitarian crisis.
These ongoing conditions highlight the urgent need to strengthen response
efforts. Humanitarian organizations must work collectively to address the growing
demands, ensure the protection of the most vulnerable populations, and provide
life-saving assistance to those in need.
